10 Groceries to Make Breakfast Easy on Autopilot

As I’ve been trying to re-create healthy food habits what I’ve noticed (that I’m sure you’ve noticed as well) is there are a million different recipes to choose from!!!  It can be a bit overwhelming at times trying to navigate all the different recipes and stear clear of my processed cereals and poptarts that I’m used to.  What I really want to do is just start with natural healthy whole ingredients and I’ve found that I feel better throughout my day when I do!

I don’t have the time to:

  1. Find a brand new recipe every day
  2. Go to the store to get the new ingredients each time
  3. Figure out how to actually cook it

So I’ve taken a different approach to learning how to create my new healthy meals so hopefully it will be helpful to you as well!  My approach is to know what my “go-to” breakfast groceries are so that I will always know what to grab at the grocery store and then later can figure out what I feel like for breakfast based off of a few different recipes knowing I’ve already got everything in the house.

Don’t get me wrong I think it is fun to experiment with new recipes too!  This is just the everyday “go-tos” so if you aren’t feeling creative or like learning to cook something new or are just running late to work you still have some healthy quick and easy options in the house.

So here it is.  My list of 10 breakfast groceries to make breakfast easy, quick and on autopilot during the workweek.

What I’ve found is if you really want to start eating healthier and truly create new food habits that will stick you have so start as simple as possible.  Then once you’ve got those habits established on autopilot you can really get more creative and have fun incorporating new recipes you learn every once and a while!
