So I decided to try peas today, I guess that peas are not very often had just on their own but I wanted to give them a try in case they popped up in another dish somewhere like the fried rice. So I don’t have too much to be say about peas. They way I prepared them was just very quickly putting them in boiling water for a minute and then just added a little butter and salt when I took them out. I cooked them very quickly so that they wouldn’t turn mushy so mine still had a bit of crunch to them so they kind of popped when you bit into them. As far as taste is concerned they were kind of starchy to me. I expected them to be a little sweeter than they actually were. For some reason they reminded me of corn just a little bit with the pop but not with the taste.
